Hermetic Journals: Music & Architecture w/ Snows Ov Gethen

Montreal, 04.11.21

modern classical musique concrete spoken word

This episode of Hermetic Journals explores the idea of music in or for the architecture. The show features a lot of pieces that have been designed specifically as environmental ambience for public spaces: buildings, exhibition pavilions, courtyards, galleries & museums, airports. There is also work that was directly shaped by the spaces where it was created or explicitly refers to the architectural concepts. This show features small excerpts from the interviews of the architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee.
