Hypnotic Tango Series w/ Elyott Lavaud

Lausanne, 02.10.25

techno ambient techno

Elyott Lavaud doesn’t hide behind a stage name — his own name already reflects his individuality. Originally from Dijon, France, he is part of a new wave of artists determined to carry forward the legacy of techno while infusing it with raw emotion and depth.

Elyott’s music blends Berlin-inspired influences with underground textures, entrancing rhythms, and deep, atmospheric layers. Each set becomes a unique journey — sometimes bright, sometimes melancholic, but always honest and uncompromising.

Inspired early on by pioneers like Len Faki, Ben Klock, and Marcel Dettmann, Elyott has refined his own style over the years, cultivating a sound that is both eclectic and profound. His performances are crafted as experiences: carefully curated musical narratives designed to transport the crowd and give every dancer the freedom to express their emotions.

Elyott has performed across clubs, bars, and unconventional spaces, with a turning point in 2022 during a late-night set at the Consortium Museum of Modern Art. As the first resident DJ of LeClub in Dijon, he pushed the boundaries of experimentation, moving seamlessly between techno, minimal, and ambient. From 2023 to 2025, he was part of the internationally recognized label t&ne records, which expanded his artistic reach and earned him support from respected names such as Justine Perry, John Wick, Marcal, Klint, and many more.

Now based in Amsterdam, Elyott fully commits to the chemistry between stage and crowd. For him, the dancefloor is not just a place for music, but a space where emotions come alive, freedom takes form, and stories are written through sound. His goal is not simply to play iconic venues like Berghain or Bassiani — but to leave a lasting mark of his own, a distinct voice within the world of techno.
