In this episode, I invited Oka (dj, producer and co-organizer of the Afro Queer Rising events), Ohjeelo (dj, producer and co-founder of the TIG label), Lélia Loison (programmer at Communale) and David Bola (music journalist for Grunt and Nova, and founder of the music media Waf Waf) to talk about several topics. We asked about the term “Global club music” and how it can be problematic, about how to conceive a truly inclusive program, and about how to perform in front of a predominantly white audience when you're a racialized artist. The podcast is followed by a minimix.
