The Bogotá-based DJ and curator Aguirre invites sonic explorers drawn to the abundance of sounds and influences that shape the Colombian experience. With only two episodes left in the season, it feels right to share how the curation of artists and selections came together. Many guests are friends—some DJs I’ve admired for years, others fellow music lovers walking shoulder to shoulder through Bogotá’s nights. Nelson aka Moritz III belongs to the latter group. We met through the corners of the party scene—cheering the acts we love, exchanging artists, recalling classics. A shared fixation on electronic music, interludes, techno, shoegaze, and other dense textures. This is his first set in six years—it’s an honor to have him.
First hour | Aguirre:
A few weeks ago, I was calming down a party at a side stage of ambient + downtempo. This was the selection from the first hour of that long set. The response was beautiful—lots of melting, lots of affection—and now the effect continues, URL-style.
