Se Desbordó el Jardín - Aguirre invites María Manuela

Bogota, 23.04.25

leftfield techno broken beat bass

Fourth episode of the radio show The Garden Overflowed by Bogotá-based DJ and curator Aguirre, in which he invites sonic explorers focused on the abundance of sounds and influences that permeate the Colombian experience. This time, he welcomes María Manuela, a DJ from northern Bogotá and one of the most celebrated emerging acts in Colombian bass music, delivering her peak-time club selection in the second hour.

This set is a journey where the ethereal and the raw, the bright and the dark converge, creating vibrant and fluctuating moments. It’s also a play of tensions—a tug-of-war that moves from the calm and sweet to the strange and murky. María Manuela dares to explore genres like deconstructed club and IDM, all infused with influences from Latin American club music and contemporary experimental sound.
