Waves From Digitonica

Paris, 15.06.22

electronica bass

Its difficult to talk about sound. When we close our eyes and listen, there are no boundaries and as such, what we feel can often not be described with the words we know. Our feelings are unique & different.

There is no word or genre that unites the artists of the label. Putting a word on a style, in order to classify, takes part of the magic away. Instead, what unites us is our passion for sound, dancing with friends and growing together.

Continuing with this same philosophy we present our show WAVES FROM and our fifth episode from DIGITONICA. A collection of sounds at first we didn’t understand, we continued to listen until we did. This process led to appreciation and love for the sounds we present today.

In the words of the artist, “Music for me is a "safe place" and even during the breaking of reality, I lie down in it as if in a cradle. In a fictional world, there can be various events, including scary ones, but I understand that this is a fantasy, that it will end as soon as I stop inventing them, which cannot be said about reality. One of the topics that has worried me in recent years is the topic of digital totalitarianism, and how strange, and how ambiguous everything is, to see manifestations of wild totalitarianism in the real world, during the period of decentralization announced in the digital world. Maximum cruelty and restrictions in an era that allows you to erase any boundaries. In music, I like to draw contrasting pictures - I express my anxiety and dream of a wonderful future, which, it seems to me, could already come. These worlds are surreal and psychedelic. I wrote this mix, trying to escape into fictional worlds, but I did not manage to completely get rid of that inner anger that was in me. I think you can hear it in music.”

Hope you enjoy this journey through sound waves and wishing you much love,
